Spring 2011 Semester

Overall the Spring of 2011 proved to be a success for the Pi Kapp’s at Mercer.

The Alpha Alpha Chapter hosted its first annual Push America’s War of the Roses event, which featured the sororities of Mercer University. The winners of the event was Alpha Delta Pi sorority, overall the competition helped raise funds and awareness for those with disabilities.

The Pi Kapps also held their annual alumni golf tournament, at the Oakview Golf Course. The alumni Team of Bryan Robertson, Anthony Maselli, and Jason Small won the event.
A special thanks to Jake Lankford and Aaron Mabon for providing the winners of the tournament with the prizes. And a thank you too all of the Alumni who came out to support the tournament.

The active brothers headed to Orlando, Fl to celebrate their spring formal! Thanks to the Carrerou family for their generous donation Rose Ball was a hell of a success. We would also like to congratulate to our new Rose Queen Katlyn Watford.

Fall 2010 Semester

In the Fall of 2010, the Alpha Alpha Chapter initiated eight brothers into our chapter, including three alumni initiates. We would like to congratulate the following brothers:
Undergraduates: Matt Bone, Matt Callier, Fazian Moosa, Aaron Walker, and Daniel Farmer
Alumni Initiates: Leo Lankford, Gerry Link, Oswald Carrerou.

In Celebrating their initiation brother Leo Lankford presented the Chapter with a new bell replacing the broken one outside of the house and brother Gerry Link presented the Chapter with a brand new 48” Flat screen Tv replacing the old one in the chapter room. Along the lines of receiving new stuff for the house, brother Gabe Denes donated a new dryer to the house. We would like to thank the brothers for their donations to the chapter.

Also, Brother Austin Sholley has signed up to take part in the 2011 Journey of Hope ride for Push. It hope that he achieves his fun raising goal.

In addition, the Alpha Alpha Chapter had a successful Gentleman’s Ball at the Wine Cellar in the month of October.

Lastly the Alpha Alpha Chapter is excited about the up and coming Spring Rush 2011. Please refer to the Rush page on the Website for further details.

Welcome to the new updated Pi Kappa Phi- Alpha Alpha Chapter website! A special thanks goes out to brothers Jake Lankford and Arsheel Ali, whose time and effort has help re-establish the Pi Kapp website. Feel free to look around the website and also register with us. We hope that this website can help keep you updated with everything Pi Kapp related.

Fall Rush, is only a few short weeks away! Rush Will begin August 24, 2010, in the RLC and will conclude on BID DAY which is September 4, 2010. The Brothers of Pi Kappa Phi are would like to invite everyone who is interested to check out the rush page and attend all of the events hosted by Pi Kapp.

Hope Everyone enjoys the remaining of Summer Break, and expect more Chapter Updates as soon as school reopens.
