Men of C.L.A.S.S.
Character - A wise man once said, "you are judged by the company you keep". You can be certain that with Pi Kappa Phi, you are in good company. We share more than a house or Greek letters, but principled behavior and values. You can own the courage to stand up for your beliefs and act upon your morals and convictions. For Pi Kappa Phi, these values are not only encouraged - it is an obligation of our membership.
Leadership - A college education is more than just attending classes. Some of the greatest lessons you will learn are from the leadership opportunities outside the classroom. Pi Kappa Phi understands that leadership takes many different forms and roles, both visible and behind the scenes. As a brother, it is expected that each person will step up as a leader, using one's individual skills and abilities for the betterment of the chapter, campus, and surrounding community.
Academics - College is not easy and each member understands the primary reason for being at a University - Education. Pi Kappa Phi goes out of its way to see to it that each member is given the resources available to succeed in the classroom. A written scholarship plan and contract outlines the expectations of brothers and associate members, while a dedicated scholarship chair monitors the grades of struggling students, researching and seeking out additional resources for those in need.
Sportsmanship - Few campuses are able to enjoy the sportsmanship as experienced here at Mercer University and Pi Kappa Phi embraces this on and off the field. Whether it is going undefeated in the regular season of flag football, winning a softball tournament, or just throwing a frisbee in the backyard, Pi Kappa Phi instills positive sports behavior and the importance of teamwork in it's brothers.
Service - The Alpha Alpha chapter of Pi Kappa Phi truly embraces the spirit of service. Each year, the chapter will participate in a number of sorority held philanthropy fundraisers. During the past year alone, Pi Kappa Phi has had the privilege of participating in the functions with Chi Omega, Phi Mu, Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, with more events planned in the near future.
In addition, the Alpha Alpha chapter of Pi Kappa Phi takes great pride in being one of the more active chapters of Pi Kappa Phi for Push America, a program founded to help raise money and awareness for those with disabilities. Through the Journey of Hope, Gear Up Florida, Push Camp, Give a Push Week, and the Alpha Alpha "Awareness Week", brothers are able to donate their time, energy, efforts, and money for those with disabilities.
